If you use the Generate Commit Message feature and choose OpenAI, only the diffs you explicitly select are sent securely to OpenAI's API for the sole purpose of generating the commit message. If you choose a local LLM instead, no data is sent to any external service.

2. Usage Statistics

We use TelemetryDeck to collect anonymized statistics about app usage. This helps us understand how users interact with our app and how we can improve it.
